Jeffrey P Kahn MD






     Jeffrey P. Kahn, M.D. has been CEO of WorkPsych Associates since 1994. He is co-editor of Mental Health and Productivity in the Workplace: A Handbook for Organizations and Clinicians (San Francisco: Jossey-Bass/Wiley, 2003), as well as editor of the 1993 first edition. He is past President of the Academy of Organizational and Occupational Psychiatry and President of the NYOEMA; and member of the American Psychiatric Association (Committee on Business), the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the New York Business Group on Health. Since 2012, he has been on the Top Doctors list (Castle Connolly Medical) as a clinical psychiatrist in New York and Scarsdale (Westchester).

     He has written and spoken widely for business, mental health and lay audiences, and his work has been noted in business publications such as The Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Benefits, among others. He has consulted to major corporations, smaller companies, federal agencies, and individuals. His clients have included organizations and leaders in such fields as Finance, Manufacturing, Management Consultation, Law, Health Care, Insurance, Real Estate, Advertising, Media and Professional Sports.

     Raised in a business family, Dr. Kahn graduated from Swarthmore College and Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, and then completed residency and advanced fellowship training at Columbia. He is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in Scarsdale and Manhattan.
